Born dead for 18 minutes, David developed cerebral palsy and inherited a world of excruciating pain, physical struggles and constant public humiliation. Orphaned at age 14, David was cast about from family to family with nowhere to call home. Yet, in the face of these seemingly insurmountable obstacles, David emerged victorious and not a victim! Life was worse than hopeless to him until he encountered Jesus Christ who pulled him out of the pit of depression, suicidal thoughts and taught him self respect and acceptance of his physical challenges.

David and his wife, Karen, make their home in Nashville, Tennessee. They are the proud parents of four children and 5 grandchildren!
